Description

Qubes OS is a security-oriented desktop operating system that achieves security through isolation. It runs your activities in separate, lightweight virtual machines (qubes) so that a compromise in one — for example a malicious email attachment — cannot affect the rest of your system. You can colour-code domains for work, personal and untrusted use, integrate Whonix for transparent Tor routing, and dispose of single-use disposable VMs. Qubes is the choice of high-risk users and a uniquely strong alternative to a conventional Windows or macOS desktop.
