CalyxOS

Description

CalyxOS is a privacy-focused Android distribution that aims to be usable for everyday people while protecting their data. It comes with the optional microG framework as a free, privacy-respecting replacement for Google Play Services, ships F-Droid and Aurora Store for apps, bundles a built-in VPN and firewall (Datura), and includes encrypted backups. CalyxOS supports a range of Pixel and select other devices and is maintained by the non-profit Calyx Institute, making it an approachable de-Googled alternative to stock Android.
