About SafeCh
Your freedom. Your code. Your future.
Our Mission
SafeCh is a community project with the goal of providing everyone access to high-quality, free and open-source software. We believe that software freedom is a fundamental right of the digital society.
Our curated collection helps individuals, companies and organizations switch from proprietary solutions to open alternatives — without vendor lock-in, without surveillance, without hidden costs.
Why Open Source?
The source code is visible. Anyone can verify what the software does — no hidden trackers or backdoors.
Thousands of eyes review the code. Security vulnerabilities are quickly discovered and fixed.
Open source is developed and improved by global communities — for everyone, by everyone.
FOSS cannot simply be discontinued. The code lives on, even when companies disappear.
