uBlock Origin is a free, open-source, efficient content blocker for Firefox and Chromium-based browsers. It blocks ads, trackers, malware domains and other unwanted content using community-maintained filter lists, while using far less memory and CPU than most blockers. Beyond simple ad blocking it offers an advanced dynamic filtering and element-picker mode for power users, and it never monetises an "acceptable ads" whitelist. uBlock Origin is the de facto standard privacy add-on and a clean alternative to Adblock Plus.
